Visas

Persons applying for student visas are required to submit a copy of admission letter/certificate from the educational institution, recognized by the Association of Indian Universities or Union/State Government. In many cases, a mandatory clearance from Government Of India is required for grant of visa. Therefore, it is advisable for such applicants to apply well in advance to avoid last minute disappointments.

Business visa applicants are required to submit a letter from their company. The business visa applicants are welcome to contact Consular Section of the embassy to get more information and guidance.

Journalists need to fill up a special form available in the embassy. They can get assistance in India from the Ministry of External affairs.
